We started in 2024 after I have been working in Fine Dining and exquisite hotels for over 27 years in Events and Country Clubs. I decided that after bartending a family's home for several years at various events and the continuous high amounts of feedback from them and their guests that my drinks are above the "Wow" factor and some of the best they ever had that my calling is to open my own business. My sincere belief is very similar to one of my hotels mission statement treating everyone the way they want to be treated. I am very honest down to earth bartender who is very proactive in making sure every guest is treated as if they were in my very own home. This is why southern hospitality is at the core of who we are as a company. Texas Style Southern Hospitality!
What Items do you bring when we book Waterloo Mobile Bartenders? And how far do you travel?
We will arrive with all the bar tools necessary to serve drinks that are ordered based on the contract.
We bring a foldable table with a black spandex skirt, insulated ice bins, scoops, extra coolers in case needed. Plastic cups , glass cups, wine glasses, champagne glasses will need to be purchased by the customer.
We can also provide everything needed for your perfect event bar! Depending on what package you choose our services include; your straws, napkins, garnishes, homemade syrups, fresh squeezed juices, friendly experienced bartenders and personalized menu signage!
We have the means to provided smoked old fashion's.
If ordered we will provide the vessels and items to create a beautiful coffee station, infused water station, or a soda station. Typically most events have these types of items already planned out to be decorated but we can source rentable bars etc.
We are willing to travel up to 40 miles from 78610 and charge a fee per mile past that. The amount of time will also be added to the contract and a separate fee will be added also.
Do You supply the Alcohol? And do you have Insurance?
This is a excellent question! Since we are in the Great State of Texas it is only legal to provide a service that is called "Dry Setup" which means the customer gets to save THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of $$$$$$! Did you know $17 per drink is charged in most Hotels at Events? There are 24 drinks per bottle of liquor! You could hypothetically loose your shirt and everything you own if you have a party of 300 that drinks 7 hours straight! Not if you buy your own! You will probably pay $25-$40 per bottle at the local liquor store!
Do You offer a Cash Bar?
No. Unfortunately, as we do not have a liquor license, we cannot collect money in exchange for alcoholic beverages. Reach out if you are a nonprofit as we’re happy to walk you through your options!
Do You have a Rain Date Policy?
Unfortunately, due to our advanced booking model, we cannot accommodate cancellations due to rain. In the event of rain, we are happy to work with your tent vendor to find the appropriate size tent for our mobile bartenders.
What are the dimensions of space you will need for a bar? Also, what if we need to move your bar or make several changes due to unplanned space limitations?
We need a 15x15 open space in front of the bar to prevent bars from being congested. Also we do not allow chairs or cocktail tables to be within obstruction of the line formation of the bar.
If the bar is needing to be completely moved and the opening time is not able to be started on time creating extra setup we will have to add last second change fee. This is in only rare occurrences with setup times are greatly increased.
How Far in Advance do we need to Book?
We generally need to have enough time to meet and greet to have fully received the details pertaining to your party. If we are available and the items are fully provided and you just need a bartender with minimal items special purchased (within reason) if we are available if nothing is booked. For events with more than 2 bartenders and over 200 people at the last moment it will be at our discretion to accept a booking or turn it down.
Are you Insured and Bonded? Are your servers TABC certified and do they have Food Handlers Certificates?
Yes we do have insurance?
We are fully insured and bonded. We will provide a copy of the policy if requested.
All bartenders have the appropriate approvals to serve through the State of Texas.
What are the liabilities of not hiring a TABC certified bartender with insurance bonding and protection from liability?
An alternative has been created for individuals, hosts, companies, etc that need to placate an event venue, mall, government building, or otherwise that is requiring some sort of liquor liability coverage for their event because of the inherent liability associated with serving alcohol. It is called “host liquor liability coverage” or “party host coverage” and it is offered through vendors on the internet. This may be the best way to put in place some sort of special event liability insurance coverage if a state-licensed alcohol resale entity is not going to be used but insurance is still required by either the venue or another party to the event.
While this is a great beginning to this discussion, certainly do your own research online with regard to TABC certifications, licensing, permits, sale and resale of alcohol. Additionally, doing your own additional research into a liability, insurance, and the different types of coverage that you can purchase will assure you that you have all of your bases covered.
